With the New Year, the partnership roster of Associated Manufacturing marketing Group is changing. New partners will be GOW of Grand Falls, NB and Design Built Mechanical of Charlo, NB – both highly qualified and experienced metalworking firms.

Design Built Mechanical is becoming a full partner and will be teaming with Associated Manufacturing Marketing Group, to provide valuable additional resources, capabilities and capacities to customers seeking a collaborative solution to their metalworking, contracting and assembly needs through well-qualified and experienced suppliers. It is the latest organization to join the supply chain of experienced New Brunswick manufacturers.

“The DBM partnership is a natural fit,” explains Mike Scott, President of Associated Manufacturing. “DBM brings additional stable and experienced work forces to our roster. Their specialty in structural steel and industrial HVAC adds significantly to the range of services we can offer large project owners and OEMs on a global basis. The additional capacity in industrial piping and custom fabrications will be of interest to our customer base.”

Scott continues, “We really like the strengths GOW brings to the table in engineering support, fabrication services and MRO experience. They will be very attractive to OEMs seeking a full service partner.”

“Delivering results is what DBM is all about. We are big enough to get the job done, and small enough to deliver the personal service firms demand when undertaking a capital construction project,” enlightens Luc Bernard, President of Design Built Mechanical. “The relationship with Associated Manufacturing will give us greater access to greater resources and a complex supply chain to fully meet the needs of our customers. The concept of this unique manufacturing collaborative will result in a broader approach to markets and industry segments. DBM is a family owned business in operation since 1996 and has over 100 employees at 2 locations in northern NB. They can be reached at 168 Craig Street, PO Box 2006, Charlo, NB E8E 2W8 506-684-2765 www.designbuiltmechanical.ca.

“The collaborative approach of this group really attracted us to this partnership” explains Marco Gagnon, one of the partners with Gilles Desjardin and Jean-Maurice Gagnon of GOW. “This really enables us to go to the next level of business”. GOW is a privately owned metalworking firm established in 1968 by founder, Gerald Gagnon and sold to the current owners in 2000. They can be reached at 783 Portage Road, Grand Falls, NB E3Z 1M5 506-473-3133 www.gow.ca.

Departing partners are Johnson Enterprises. A. Landry Fabrication and Hachey Construction & Fabrication. All are departing on good terms and the supply relationships they have developed with the remaining partners will continue on an ongoing basis.

Original partners, AllTech Mechanical & Hydraulic and Sunny Corner Enterprises will remain and active and key members of the AMMG collaborative partnership.
